Registration

Participants who have paid for their registration will receive a full refund on the registration fee. Refunds will be through the following methods:
     i. Payment by credit/debit card – Refund will be automatically credited to the same card during registration.
     ii. Payment by OCBC Digital / NETS – Refund will be made to the participant’s registered mobile number via PayNow.

You will receive your refund by 31 May 2025.

All paying participants across all categories will receive a full refund. The full list of rides is as follows:
     i. The Sportive Ride (40km)
     ii. The Straits Times Ride (20km)
     iii. The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km)
     iv. Speedway Open Championship
     v. Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (2 to 5 years old)
     vi. Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (5 to 12 years old)
     vii. 100km Virtual Ride
     viii. Round Island Virtual Ride

Refunds will be progressively processed and you should receive the refunded amount by 31 May 2025. If you have not received your refund by 31 May 2025, please email us at enquiry@ocbccycle.com and provide us with your:
     i. Name
     ii. Last 4 characters of your NRIC/ Passport Number

We will reply within three working days.

All registrants are automatically converted to the Virtual Ride category. However, you can choose not to submit the required materials to complete your Virtual Ride.

All registration (except 100km Virtual Ride and Round Island Virtual Ride) will be automatically converted to the Virtual Ride category. No further action is needed to convert your registration.

Participants registered in The Sportive Ride (40km) will be riding in The Sportive VR (40km).

Participants registered in The Straits Times Ride (20km) will be riding in The Straits Times VR (20km).

Participants registered in The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km) will be riding in The Foldie VR by Brompton (40km).

Participants registered in Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (2 to 5 years old) will be riding in Mighty Savers® Kids VR (1km).

Participants registered in Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (5 to 12 years old) will be riding in Mighty Savers® Kids VR (5km).

Registrations received for the Speedway Open Championship will be cancelled. Similar to all other participants, registration fees will be fully refunded to those who registered for this category.

No, you will not be able to switch to another Virtual Ride category.

Please note that there is no complimentary insurance coverage for all Virtual Ride participants.

If you wish to purchase a personal accident insurance to cover you during your ride, you may purchase it from Great Eastern here.

  • All participants of eligible categories will receive an event apparel.
  • All participants who have completed their Virtual Ride will receive an event medal.
  • To get their medal, participants will still need to clock, at minimum, the distance they signed up for. They will receive the medal for the category they originally signed up for in the mail after they complete their virtual ride.

You cannot change the event apparel size you opted for during your registration. Sizes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cyclists can collect their event apparel at the Event Pack Collection booth at Visitor Centre, Singapore Sports Hub. You may authorise someone else to collect the pack on your behalf. The Event Organiser and the Event Owner may change the date and/or time of the collection at their sole discretion.

Event Pack Collection:
     i. 2 and 3 May 2025, Friday and Saturday – 10am to 8:30pm
     ii. 4 May 2025, Sunday – 10am to 5:30pm

You are required to bring:
     i. Confirmation Slip (e-copy)
     ii. Your NRIC/Passport

If you are authorising someone else to collect the pack on your behalf, your authorised person should bring:
     i. His or her NRIC/Passport
     ii. A copy of your NRIC/Passport (e-copy)
     iii. Your confirmation slip (e-copy)
     iv. Letter of authorisation

Submission

Complete and submit your ride(s) from 3 May 2025, 12:00am to 2 June 2025, 11:59pm.

You only have one attempt to submit your ride details via the user portal at  www.ocbccycle.com by 2 June 2025, 11:59pm to indicate that you have completed your virtual ride.

To submit your results, login with the login code found in the confirmation email and your email address submitted during registration.

An email will be sent to you to confirm the verification of your ride within seven days after your submission.

The event medal will be delivered to you by Monday, 23 June 2025

The confirmation email was not sent due to one of the following reasons:
     i. You might have provided an erroneous email address when registering.
     ii. The email might have been treated as spam and diverted to your junk box.

If you still do not have the confirmation email after checking, please email us at enquiry@ocbccycle.com and provide us with your:
     i. Name
     ii. Last 4 characters of your NRIC/ Passport Number

We will reply within three working days.

The Sportive VR (40km), The Straits Times VR (20km), The Foldie VR by Brompton (40km), Mighty Savers® Kids VR (2 to 5 years old) (1km).and Mighty Savers® Kids VR (5 to 12 years old) (5km).

  • Complete the required distance in a single attempt.
  • Take pictures of the following:
         i. Your ride details – date, distance and duration – recorded by a fitness tracker/workout app that you use during your ride(s).
         ii. A picture of you and your bicycle from your ride(s); this can be taken at any point of your ride(s).
    – Each ride submitted has to be completed within a twenty-four (24) hour time-frame.

100km Virtual Ride

  • Cycle at least 100km over a maximum of four rides, anywhere (indoor/outdoor)
    Take pictures of the following:
         i. Your ride details – date, distance and duration – recorded by a fitness tracker/workout app that you use during your ride(s).
         ii. A picture of you and your bicycle from your ride(s); this can be taken at any point of your ride(s).
  • Each ride submitted has to be completed within a twenty-four (24) hour time-frame.

Round Island Virtual Ride

  • Complete a round island ride in a single attempt.
  • Take pictures of the following:
         i. Your ride map showing a coverage around the island, covering areas in the proximity of Jurong, CBD, Tanah Merah Coast Road and Woodlands.
         ii. Your ride details – date, distance and duration – recorded by a fitness tracker/workout app that you use during your ride.
         iii. A minimum ride distance of 120km is required
         iv. A picture of you and your bicycle from your ride; this can be taken at any point of your ride.

Your event medal will be mailed to you after your ride has been verified within seven days after your submission.

If you have not received your medal by 23 June 2025, please email us at enquiry@ocbccycle.com and provide us with your:
     i. Name
     ii. Last 4 characters of your NRIC/ Passport Number

Any applications or devices that can track the date of ride, distance and ride duration can be used. Some examples of devices or apps that can be used include cycling computers as well as apps like CycleMeter, MapMyRide, Strava, or native health apps in Android or iOS devices.

You can take a photo of your watch or any device showing the date of ride next to your tracking device which shows your ride details.

Riding with a helmet, especially when outdoors, is strongly encouraged. It is required by law to wear a helmet when you are cycling on the road. Please abide by traffic regulations and adopt safe cycling practices when riding outdoors.

There is no specified route for the Virtual Ride categories. You can take your preferred route to complete the required distance. Please ensure that you follow prevailing guidelines and regulations by the authorities.

However, for Round Island Virtual Ride, you are required to submit a map of your ride that shows a coverage around the island, covering areas in the proximity of Jurong, CBD, Tanah Merah Coast Road and Woodlands.

Corporate Rides

The registration of all your employees will be changed automatically according to the category that they have signed up for.
     i. Participants registered in The Sportive Ride (40km) will be riding for The Sportive VR (40km). Click here for more details.

Your employees will not be eligible to take part if they have not completed their registrations.

No. There will no longer be an OCBC Cycle Corporate Challenge for OCBC Cycle 2025.
