Registration
Sign up for OCBC Cycle 2025 here, between 14 February till 21 April 2025. An email will be sent to you to confirm your registration.
Registration for this event starts from 14 February 2025, 12:00pm to 21 April 2025, 11:59pm, or when all slots are taken up.
There are no early bird prices for Speedway Championship. Early bird prices for the other categories run till 16 March 2025, and regular prices will be applied from 17 March to 21 April 2025. The prices can be found under the respective categories.
The registration fees are as follows.
i. The Straits Times Ride (20km) – S$50 / S$63
ii. The Sportive Ride (40km) – S$89 / S$103
iii. The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km) – S$89 / S$103
iv. Speedway Championship – S$380
v. 100km Virtual Ride – S$21 / S$24
vi. Round Island Virtual Ride – S$36 / S$39
vii. Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (2 – 5 years old) – S$25 / S$29
viii. Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (5 – 12 years old) – S$38 / S$42 (per child)
ix. Mighty Savers® Family Ride (5 – 12 years old) – S$72 to S$189 / S$77 to S$203 (1 Adult with up to four children)
All participants of eligible categories will receive a medal and an event apparel. There will also be complimentary insurance coverage by Great Eastern for all rides based on the above registration fees except for 100km Virtual Ride.

Details of new rides will be released on 14 February. Keep a lookout for a new virtual ride, a new speedway championship and a new end point for Mighty Savers® Kids Ride.
The minimum age for each event category is set out below:
i. The Straits Times Ride (20km) – 13 years old
ii. The Sportive Ride (40km) – 16 years old
iii. The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km) – 16 years old
iv. Speedway Championship – 19 years old
v. 100km Virtual Ride – 13 years old
vi. Round Island Virtual Ride – 16 years old
vii. Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (Tricycle) – 2 to 5 years old
viii. Mighty Savers® Kids Ride – 5 to 12 years old
Participant’s age is determined by his/her age by the year of the Event.
The registration fees for The Straits Times Ride (20km), The Sportive Ride (40km), The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km), Speedway Championship, Mighty Savers® Kids Ride include basic personal accident insurance coverage for the cyclist’s ride on the respective event day. Cyclists aged between 2 and 75 will enjoy the following insurance coverage:

Please note that there is no complimentary insurance coverage for participants of 100km and Round Island Virtual Ride.
You can choose to purchase additional insurance coverage at your own cost during registration (not applicable for 100km Virtual Ride and Round Island Virtual Ride).

For example, you cannot apply the 10% discount off your registration fee from your OCBC card, and in addition complete payment via OCBC App to receive S$2 in cashback.
You can sign up to take part in more than one ride. However, you cannot sign up for multiple categories within the Virtual Rides or The Sportive Ride (40km) /The Straits Times Ride (20km) / The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km).
For example, you can sign up for The Sportive Ride (40km), 100km Virtual Ride and Speedway Championship. However, you cannot concurrently sign up for 100km Virtual Ride and Round Island Virtual Ride.
No, you will not be able to switch to another category after you have completed your registration.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
If you are under the age of 21, you will need your parent’s or guardian’s consent. Please complete the indemnity section found on the online registration form.

A confirmation email with a login code will be sent to the email address you provided during the registration process.
The confirmation email was not sent due to one of the following reasons:
i. You might have provided an erroneous email address when registering.
ii. The email might have been treated as a spam email and diverted to your junk box.
If you still do not have the confirmation email after checking, please email us at enquiry@ocbccycle.com and provide us with your:
i. Name
ii. Last 4 characters of your NRIC/ Passport Number
We will reply within three working days.
You cannot change your event apparel size after you have completed your registration. Please refer to the size chart at the point of registration to choose your preference. Sizes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cyclists can collect their event packs and event apparel at the Event Pack Collection booth on 2 and 3 May 2025, 10:00am to 8:30pm at Visitor Centre, Singapore Sports Hub. You may authorise someone else to collect the pack on your behalf. The Event Organiser and the Event Owner may change the date and/or time of the collection at their sole discretion.
You are required to bring:
i. Confirmation Slip (e-copy)
ii. Your NRIC/Passport
If you are authorising someone else to collect the pack on your behalf, your authorised person should bring:
i. His or her NRIC/Passport
ii. A copy of your NRIC/Passport (e-copy)

Yes.
Please note that you will need to bring along a helmet with you to ride at the event. It is compulsory to wear one during the event. Participants without a helmet will not be allowed to participate in the ride.
If you have opted to rent a bike from Anywheel during the registration, please note that it does not come with a helmet.
All brands of foldable bicycles will be allowed for The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km) category.
Yes, however, you are not allowed to abandon your bicycles along the cycling route. They must be returned to designated bike-sharing parking spots where available.
You are not allowed to join another category if you miss the flag-off time. This is to minimise overcrowding and to ensure the roads can be reopened to the public as required by the authorities.
You are advised to reach the event site at least 1 hour before the start of the event.
Yes. Participants will be diverted if they do not reach certain sections of the route by the stipulated timings. More details regarding the cut-off time and the route diversion plan will be shared closer to the event.
You will still be able to receive the medal at the finishing line if you miss the cut-off time during your ride.
You can refer to the types of bicycles allowed at the event here.
Provided by Shimano, basic bike maintenance service is available during the event. Please note that you are required to arrive at the start point and/or cut-off locations by the stipulated timings to participate in the ride.
No. Registration for OCBC Cycle is non-transferable for safety reasons, ease of identification and contact purposes during an emergency.
Only participants riding in The Straits Times Ride (20km), The Sportive Ride (40km) and The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km) will have their timings recorded. Ride timing will be reflected in the e-Certificate that is downloadable within seven (7) days after the event.
Corporate Rides
The Corporate Challenge
Each company can sign up their employees (minimum 10 slots) across any of the following categories:
- The Straits Times Ride (20km)
- The Sportive Ride (40km)
- The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km)
If your company takes part in The Corporate Challenge category, it will be eligible to compete for the Longest Distance Award.
The company with the longest distance accumulated on the event day will be crowned the winner.
Speedway Championship
- A competitive race for companies on 3 May 2025 along Stadium Drive.
- Each team must consist of 5 members; a mix of male and female riders is allowed.
- No event apparel is provided. Riders in this category are required to compete in their team jerseys.

You may reserve slots for your colleagues by writing in to eventinfo@ocbccycle.com. Express your interest between 14 February to 10 April 2025. Only The Straits Times Ride (20km), The Sportive Ride (40km) and The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km) is eligible for the Corporate Challenge on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payment can be made via bank transfer. Payments must be received within five working days of receiving the e-invoice. Otherwise, the slots will be released.
Your employees will not be eligible to take part if they do not complete their registrations by the closing date – 21 April 2025, 11:59pm.
The company with the longest distance accumulated on the event day will be awarded with a trophy and dining vouchers from JEN Singapore Orchardgateway
Speedway Championship
- Indicate your interest as a team of five (including 1 reserve) by Thursday, 10 April 2025, 11:59pm to take part.
- Only standard mass-start road bicycles are allowed for the race. Further details will be shared in the Technical Guide.
- For the race, your team is required to complete 10 laps of the 1km course
- The first five laps will be completed by 2 riders, and the next 5 laps by the remaining 2 riders.
- There will be three rounds – qualifying rounds, semi-finals and finals.
- Ranking of the teams in each round is based on the time taken to complete the course.
- The time taken by a team to complete the race is deemed to be the average of the times taken by the third and fourth rider to cross the finishing line from the flag-off of the race.
- A pre-race briefing will be conducted for the participants prior to the event day. Further details will be announced closer to the event day.
This year, we are consolidating into a single open category. Overseas clubs are welcomed to participate.
Riders are only allowed to represent one team within Speedway Championship.
Teams can submit their interest to participate in the race between 14 February 2025, 12:00pm and 10 April 2025, 11:59pm.
Your team will only be confirmed after payment is made. Payment has to be completed by 11 April 2025, 11:59pm. The Event Organiser reserves the right to release the reservation if payment is not made by 11 April 2025, 11:59pm.

Each club/company can register a maximum of two teams with the second team being placed on the waiting list. Priority will be given to the first registered team to create a diverse team line-up.
The Event Organiser reserves the right to accept the teams at its sole discretion without having the need to provide any reasons/explanation.
Each team will need to register five riders for the race, including 1 as the reserve rider.
Any request for a change in the team members will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please email us at cycle.speedway@ocbccycle.com.
All cyclists must be pre-registered and no replacement is allowed. Failure to comply will result in an immediate disqualification of the team.
You can only ride for the team that you registered for. Failure to comply will result in an immediate disqualification of both teams.
Yes, you can have a mix of female and male riders in your team
The prizes for each category are:
- Champion – S$3,000, Customised Hydro Flask Bottle Trophy and Champions’ jerseys
- First Runner-up – S$2,000 and Customised Hydro Flask Bottle Trophy
- Second Runner-up – S$1,000 and Customised Hydro Flask Bottle Trophy
Mighty Savers® Kids Ride
For Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (2 – 5 years old)
One adult will be allowed to accompany the child on foot during the ride at no additional fee.
For Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (5 – 12 years old)
You can register your child (up to 4) and yourself under the Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (5 to 12 years old) category so that you can ride alongside your child.

Event Day (For Physical Rides)

You can store your bicycle at the bike park in OCBC Square or such other areas as the Event Organiser and the Event Owner may determine from time to time before your ride at no charge, available on a first-come first-served basis.
2 and 3 May 2025
The overnight bike storage park opens from 10:00am to 8:30pm or such other time as the Event Organiser and the Event Owner may determine from time to time.
4 May 2025
The overnight bike storage park is open from 3:00am to 12:00pm or such other time as the Event Organiser and the Event Owner may determine from time to time.
While there will be security personnel at the bike park, you are encouraged to secure your bicycle with your own lock.
Storage of your bicycle is at your own risk. The Event Organiser and the Event Owner will not be liable for any loss or damage to your bicycle.
Please cater additional time to get to the start pen as the bike park will be located at OCBC Square.
Only the Speedway Championship is competitive and will have prizes given to the winners. All other rides are non-competitive for safety reasons, and as such, there will be no prizes given.

Virtual Rides
- Sign up by Monday, 21 April 2025, at 11:59pm to take part in your preferred category.
- Cycle the distance required over a maximum of four rides, anywhere (indoor/outdoor) from 3 May, 12:00am to 2 June 2025, 11:59pm.
- Take pictures of the following:
- Your ride details – date, distance and duration – recorded by a fitness tracker/workout app that you use during your ride(s).
- A picture of you and your bicycle from your ride(s); this can be taken at any point of your ride(s).
- You only have one attempt to submit these pictures via the user portal at www.ocbccycle.com by 2 June 2025, 11:59pm to indicate that you have completed your virtual ride.
- To submit your results, login with the login code found in the confirmation email and your email address submitted during registration.
- An email will be sent to you to confirm the completion of your ride within seven days after your submission.
- The event medals will be delivered to you by Monday, 23 June 2025.
Sign up by Monday, 21 April 2025, at 11:59pm to take part in your preferred category.
Complete and submit your ride(s) from 3 May 2025, 12:00am to 2 June 2025, 11:59pm.
100km Virtual Ride
Cycle at least 100km over a maximum of four rides, anywhere (indoor/outdoor)
Take pictures of the following:
i. Your ride details – date, distance and duration – recorded by a fitness tracker/workout app that you use during your ride(s).
ii. A picture of you and your bicycle from your ride(s); this can be taken at any point of your ride(s).
Each ride submitted has to be completed within a twenty-four (24) hour time-frame.
Round Island Virtual Ride
Complete a round island ride in a single attempt from 3 May 2025, 12:00am to 2 June 2025, 11:59pm.
Take pictures of the following:
i. Your ride map showing a coverage around the island, covering areas in the proximity of Jurong, CBD, Tanah Merah Coast Road and Woodlands.
ii. Your ride details – date, distance and duration – recorded by a fitness tracker/workout app that you use during your ride.
iii. A minimum ride distance of 120km is required
iv. A picture of you and your bicycle from your ride; this can be taken at any point of your ride.
- You only have one attempt to submit your ride details via ocbccycle.com by 2 June 2025, 11:59pm to indicate that you have completed your virtual ride.
- To submit your results, login with the login code found in the confirmation email and your email address submitted during registration.
- An email will be sent to you to confirm the verification of your ride within seven days after your submission.
- The event medals will be delivered to you by Monday, 23 June 2025
Yes, mileage clocked from other categories, including The Sportive Ride (40km), The Straits Times Ride (20km), The Foldie Ride by Brompton (40km) and the Speedway Championship, may count towards the distance clocked for 100km Virtual Ride.
Any applications or devices that can track the date of ride, distance and ride duration can be used. Some examples of devices or apps that can be used include cycling computers as well as apps like CycleMeter, MapMyRide, Strava, or native health apps in Android or iOS devices.
You can take a photo of your watch or any device showing the date of ride next to your tracking device which shows your ride details.
Riding with a helmet, especially when outdoors, is strongly encouraged. It is required by law to wear a helmet when you are cycling on the road. Please abide by traffic regulations and adopt safe cycling practices when riding outdoors.
There is no specified route for the Virtual Ride categories. You can take your preferred route to complete the required distance. Please ensure that you follow prevailing guidelines and regulations by the authorities. However, for Round Island Virtual Ride, you are required to submit a map of your ride that shows a coverage around the island, covering areas in the proximity of Jurong, CBD, Tanah Merah Coast Road and Woodlands.
