Rules And Regulations – Latest

GENERAL

  1. OCBC Cycle 2023 (the “Event”) is owned by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (the “Event Owner”) and organised and managed by PICH Event Management Pte Ltd (the “Event Organiser”). These rules and regulations (the “Regulations”), which can be found at www.ocbccycle.com (the “Official Website”), apply to all persons participating in the Event.
  2. By submitting the application to participate in the Event, the person named in the online application form (the “Participant”) acknowledges that he/she has read these Regulations, and confirms his/her agreement and acceptance to abide by and comply with these Regulations. The Event Owner and the Event Organiser reserve the right to vary, amend, delete or add to any of these Regulations, at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice.
  3. By submitting the application, the Participant also acknowledges that the Event Owner does not assume any operational role in connection with the organisation of the Event.
  4. By submitting the application, the Participant also gives the Event Owner, the Event Organiser and their relevant business partners and agents permission to collect, use, disclose and process the Participant’s personal data (i) for purposes reasonably required for the organising and conducting of the Event; (ii) to contact the Participant to promote and market the Event and future events OCBC Group and its authorised service providers; (iii) for the purposes contemplated in these Regulations, and (iv) to promote and market the Event and future events organised or held by the Event Owner and/or Event Organiser; (v) other reasonable purposes as set out in the OCBC Data Protection Policy, which is accessible at: www.ocbc.com/personal-banking/policies which the Participant is deemed to have read and understood through his/her submission of the application.
  5. Registration for the Event is confirmed only upon payment of the relevant registration fee (where applicable) and/or issuance of a confirmation email by the Event Organiser. Registration is strictly non-transferrable.
  6. The Event Owner and the Event Organiser reserve the right to use any photographs, videos, motion pictures, images, recordings, or any other recording of the Event and its Participants for any commercial advertising and other promotional purposes linked to the Event or future cycling-related events organised or held by the Event Owner and Event Organiser (“Promotional Purposes”), subject to compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. By submitting the application, the Participant gives his/her consent to the Event Owner and Event Organiser to collect, use and disclose his/her personal data in photographs, videos, motion pictures, images, recordings, or any other recording of the Event for the Promotional Purposes. The Participant has the right to withdraw his/her consent at any time upon giving reasonable notice.
  7. The Participant agrees to: (i) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about himself/herself in the registration form (the “Registration Data”) and (ii) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to ensure that it remains true, accurate, current and complete. The Event Owner and/or the Event Organiser may contact the Participant from time to time by email and/or SMS and/or phone call in connection with the Event.
  8. After registration, there will be no refund of any registration fees (where applicable) to any Participant who does not in due course take part in the Event, for any reason whatsoever. Registration is also strictly non-transferrable.
  9. If there is ambiguity in any of these provisions, the Event Organiser shall be the sole authority to interpret them – and in so doing, they may (but is not obliged to) take into account the interests of all affected Participants. Participants will be notified of any amendments to these Regulations on the Official Website, and their continued participation in the Event shall be deemed as the Participants’ acceptance and agreement to the revised Regulations.
  10. To the greatest extent permitted by the law, the Event Owner and Event Organiser shall not be held liable to the Participant or any third party for any loss, damage, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, in connection with the Event. Any participation in the Event, and/or any of the activities or events contained or occurring therein, are at the sole risk of the Participant.
  11. The Event Organiser reserve the right to cancel or change any details of the Event or any component of it at any time without prior notice to Participants. Every reasonable effort will be made to inform Participants of changes prior to the date and/or timing of the Event. The Event Owner and the Event Organiser shall not be liable for any indirect and/or consequential loss or inconvenience arising from any cancellation or change of any details of the Event or any component thereof.

EVENT CATEGORIES

12. Participants can sign up for the following Event categories:
a) City Ride on closed roads:
i. The Straits Times 20km City Ride (13 years old and above)
ii. The Sportive 40km Ride (16 years old and above)
b) Speedway Championship (19 years old and above):
i. Speedway Club Championship
ii. Speedway Corporate Championship
iii. Speedway Women Championship
c) Virtual Rides:
i. The 500km Virtual Ride
ii. The 100km Virtual Ride
d) Mighty Savers® Kids and Family Rides:
i. Mighty Savers® Tricycle Ride (For participants from 2 years old to 5 years old)
ii. Might Savers® Kids and Family Rides (For participants from 5 years old to 12 years old)
e) Spin Ride by CRU (13 years and above)
f) Indoor Ride by Shimano (13 years and above)

Participants can sign up to take part in more than one ride save that they cannot sign up for multiple categories within the Virtual Rides and Speedway Championships.

For example, you can sign up for the 20km City Ride, the 100km Virtual Ride and Speedway Club Championship. However, you cannot concurrently sign up for the 100km Virtual Ride
and 500km Virtual Ride.

13. The Event registration period is from 7 February 2023, 12:30pm to 24 April 2023, 12:00pm.

14. The Participant’s age will be deemed to be his/her age on the day he/she participates in the Event, except for any of the categories under OCBC Cycle Speedway Championships where
the Participant’s age will be deemed as of the year of the Event.

15. If the Participant is under the age of 21, he/ she will need his/ her parent’s or guardian’s consent and complete the indemnity section found in the online registration form. The
completion of the indemnity form found in the online registration form shall constitute and be deemed as the Participant (who is under the age of 21) having obtained consent from
his/her parent or legal guardian to participate in the Event, and accordingly, the parent’s and/or legal guardian’s (i) consent and approval for the Participant to participate in the Event,
and (ii) acknowledgement and confirmation that the parent and/or legal guardian has read, understood and agreed to these Regulations.

16. Where applicable, Participants are strictly not allowed to do the following after they have completed their registration:
a) Transfer or sell their registration slots/event bibs;
b) Change their event categories/ activities; or
c) Change the size for their event apparel (if applicable).

17. The following applies to The Straits Times 20km City Ride:
a) Participants, who must be 13 years of age and above, will ride for an approximate distance of 20km.
b) Participants are advised to reach the venue 45 minutes before the flag-off time indicated.
c) For safety reasons, only road bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, single speed bikes with freewheel and two brakes, touring bikes, hybrid bikes, mini velo bikes and BMX
bikes are allowed. All such bikes must also come with two brakes. View our list of bicycles allowed.
d) The distance for The Straits Times 20km City Ride stated on the Official Event Website is only an estimation and tentative. The distance and route will be finalised only after
regulatory approval is obtained.
e) Participants who successfully complete The Straits Times 20km City Ride will be awarded:
i. A medal upon the presentation of their Event bib to the respective officials on the Event Day.
ii. An e-Certificate which will be available for download within seven days of participation. The e-Certificate will no longer be available for download on 27 June 2023
and the Event Organiser will not be required to provide you with the e-Certificate thereafter if you have not downloaded a copy by that date.

18. The following applies to The Sportive 40km Ride:
a) Participants, who must be 16 years of age and above, will ride for an approximate distance of 40km.
b) For safety reasons, only road bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, single speed bikes with freewheel and two brakes, touring bikes, hybrid bikes, mini velo bikes and BMX
bikes are allowed. All such bikes must also come with two brakes. View our list of bicycles allowed.
c) The distance for The Sportive 40km Ride stated on the Official Event Website is only tentative. The distance and route will be finalised only after regulatory approval is
obtained.
d) Participants who successfully complete The Sportive 40km Ride will be awarded.
i. A medal upon the presentation of their Event bib to the respective officials on the Event Day.
ii. An e-Certificate which will be available for download within seven days of participation. The e-Certificate will no longer be available for download on 27 June 2023
and the Event Organiser will not be required to provide you with the e-Certificate thereafter if you have not downloaded a copy by that date.

19. The following applies to the OCBC Cycle Speedway Club Championship:
a) Teams can indicate their interest using the reservation form.
b) Teams will be given a code via email to make payment through the Official Website after the Event Organiser has reviewed and accepted their reservations.
c) Team reservations are confirmed only after the Event Organiser receives payment.
d)    Upon confirmation of the team’s reservation, confirmed teams will be given a code to register their participating team members. All registration of the participating team
members must be completed by 24 April 2023.
e) A minimum of four club teams is required in order to proceed with the category. Participants will be informed should the category be cancelled and refunds will be made
accordingly.
f) Places are confirmed only after all members of the team have completed their registration and the confirmation email is sent to the email addresses of the members
provided during registration.
g) Each team must comprise of five riders (including one reserve rider) who are 19 years of age and above.
h) Each Participant’s age will be deemed as the age the Participant will be upon reaching his/her birthday in the year of the Event.
i) Mixed team of female and male riders is
allowed.
j) All riders must be registered prior the Event. Any request for replacement of rider shall be done before the start of the Event and evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If any
request is approved, the replacement rider will need to adhere to the prevailing rules and regulations.
k) Each rider can only represent one team within Speedway Championships.
l) Each club can only register up to a maximum of two teams. However, the second team will be
placed on a waiting list.
m) A maximum of 15 teams is allowed for this category and registration is on a first-come-first-served basis.
n) The 15 teams will initially be divided into three groups of five teams to race.
o) The winners and the 1st runners-up of each group will automatically qualify for the semi-finals. The two teams with the fastest timings among the remaining six teams will
also proceed to the semi-finals.
p) The winners and 1st runners-up of the semi-finals will automatically qualify for the finals.
q) Format of a race:
i. Each team is required to complete 10 laps of the 1km course – first five laps (1st pair of riders) and last five laps (next pair of riders).
ii. The time taken by a team to complete the race is deemed to be the average of the times taken by the third and fourth rider to cross the finishing line from the flag
off of the race.
r) The following prizes will be given away: Champion – $800 and Champions’ jersey; First Runner-Up – $600; Second Runner-Up – $400
s) For safety reasons, only road bikes with two working brakes are allowed. View our list of bicycles allowed.

20. The following applies to the OCBC Cycle Speedway Corporate Championship:
a) Companies can indicate their interest using the reservation form.
b) Companies will be given a code via email to make payment through the Official Website after the Event Organiser has reviewed and accepted their reservations.
c) Company reservations are confirmed only after the Event Organiser receives payment.
d) Upon confirmation of the reservation, Companies with confirmed places will be given a code to register their participating team members. All registration of the participating
team members must be completed by 24 April 2023.
e) A minimum of four corporate teams is required in order to proceed with the category. Participants will be informed should the category be cancelled and refunds will be
made accordingly.
f) Places are confirmed only after all the members of the team have completed their registration and the confirmation slip is sent to the email addresses of the members
provided during registration.
g) Each team must comprise five riders (including one reserve rider) who are 19 years of age and above.
h) Each Participant’s age will be deemed as the age the Participant will be upon reaching his/her birthday in the year of the Event.
i) Mixed teams of female and male riders are allowed.
j) All riders must be registered prior the Event. Any request for replacement of rider shall be done before the start of the Event and evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If any
request is approved, the replacement rider will need to adhere to the prevailing rules and regulations.
k) All riders must be employees from the same company. Proof of identification and employment will be requested upon signing in on event day.
l) Each rider can only represent one team within OCBC Cycle Speedway Championships.
m) Each company can only register up to a maximum of two teams. However, the second team will be placed on a waiting list.
n) A maximum of twelve teams is allowed for this category and registration is based on a first-come-first-served basis.
o) The twelve teams will initially be divided into three groups of four teams to race.
p)    The winners, 1st runners-up and 2nd runners-up of each group will automatically qualify for the semi-finals. 
q) The winners and 1st runners-up of the semi-finals will automatically qualify for the finals.
r) Format of a race:
i. Each team is required to complete 10 laps of the 1km course – first five laps (1st pair of riders) and last five laps (next pair of riders).
ii. The time taken by a team to complete the race is deemed to be the average of the times taken by the third and fourth rider to cross the finishing line from the flag
off of the race.
s) The following prizes will be given away: Champion – $800 and Champions’ jersey; First Runner-Up – $600; Second Runner-Up – $400
t) For safety reasons, only road bikes with two working brakes are allowed. View our list of bicycles allowed.

21. The following applies to the OCBC Cycle Speedway Women’s Championship:
a) Teams can indicate their interest using the reservation form.
b) Teams will be given a code via email to make payment through the Official Website after the Event Organiser has reviewed and accepted their reservations.
c) Team reservations are confirmed only after the Event Organiser receives payment.
d) Upon confirmation of the reservation, confirmed teams will be given a code to register their participating team members. All registration of the participating team members must
complete by 24 April 2023.
e) A minimum of four women’s teams is required in order to proceed with the category. Participants will be informed should the category be cancelled and refunds will be made
accordingly.
f) Places are confirmed only after all members of the team have completed their registration and the confirmation slip is sent to the email addresses of the members provided
during registration.
g) Each team must comprise of five riders (including one reserve rider) who are 19 years of age and above.
h) Each Participant’s age will be deemed as the age the Participant will be upon reaching his/her birthday in the year of the Event.
i) Only female riders are allowed.
j) All riders must be registered prior the Event. Any request for replacement of rider shall be done before the start of the Event and evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If any
request is approved, the replacement rider will need to adhere to the prevailing rules and regulations.
k) Each rider can only represent one team within OCBC Cycle Speedway Championships.
l) A maximum of eight teams is allowed for this category and registration is based on a first-come-first-served basis.
m) The eight teams will initially be divided into two groups of four teams to race.
n)    The winners, 1st runners-up and 2nd runners-up of each group will automatically qualify for the semi-finals.
o) The winners and 1st runners-ups and 2nd runners-up of each group of four teams to race.
p) Format of a race:
i. Each team is required to complete 10 laps of the 1km course – first five laps (1st pair of riders) and last five laps (next pair of riders).
ii. The time taken by a team to complete the race is deemed to be the average of the times taken by the third and fourth rider to cross the finishing line from the flag-off of
the race.
q) The following prizes will be given away: Champion – $800 and Champions’ jersey; First Runner-Up – $600; Second Runner-Up – $400
r) For safety reasons, only road bikes with two working brakes are allowed. View our list of bicycles allowed.

22. The distance for OCBC Cycle Speedway Championships categories is approximate. The Event Organiser reserves the right to change the distance for any of the categories should
circumstance demands it.

23. The following applies to the individual categories in the Virtual Rides:
a) Participants must complete their ride between 6 May 2023, 12:00am and 5 June 2023, 12:00pm. (the “Event Period”).
b) Participants can accumulate the required distance of the respective category in up to four sessions (indoor/outdoor), as long as the ride is completed within the Event Period.
c) Electric powered/assisted bicycles are not allowed. View our list of bicycles allowed.
d) The following documents are required to be submitted as proof of ride in order to be eligible for the event entitlement:
i. A photo consisting of the Participant and his/her bicycle.
(Note: Participants should be stationary and at a safe location before taking any photographs. Participants should adhere to safe distancing measures as well)
ii. Photo(s) of the ride details which must contain the date of activity, distance and duration of activity. The ride details must be captured using suitable fitness tracking
devices or mobile applications. Participants may use multiple devices within the photo of their proof of ride, in order to display all required information.
iii. Participants can access the user portal to submit their ride details between 6 May 2023, 12:00am and 5 June 2023, 12:00pm. Submission can only be done once and
Participants should ensure that they have all the relevant details and images on hand before submitting their proof of ride. Participants will not be able to amend or
supplement their ride details once the submission has been made.
iv. Event Organiser reserve the right to disqualify Participants if submitted documents are deemed to be unclear, incomplete or fraudulent. Disqualified Participants will not
be eligible to receive the event entitlement.
e) Participants who have purchased the add-on event merchandise to self-collect their purchases at the Event Pack Collection during the event weekend.
f) Upon validation of submissions, qualified Participants will receive the following items.
i. An e-Certificate which will be available for download within seven days of submission. The e-Certificate will no longer be available for download on 26 June 2023 and the
Event Organiser will not be required to provide you with the e-Certificate thereafter if you have not downloaded a copy by that date.
ii. Event medal will be delivered by 26 June 2023.
g) The categories under Virtual Rides are only open to residents of Singapore.

24. The following applies to Mighty Savers® Tricycle Ride:
a) Children, who must be between 2 and 5 years of age.
b) Only one parent or legal guardian of the Participant is allowed to accompany him/her on the designated path along the route.
c) For safety reasons, only tricycles, bicycles with training wheels and balance bikes are allowed. View our list of bicycles allowed.

25. The following applies to Mighty Savers® Kids and Family Rides:
a) Children, who must be between 5 and 12 years of age, will ride for approximately 20 minutes.
b) For safety reasons, only road bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, single speed bikes with freewheel and two brakes, touring bikes, hybrid bikes, mini velo bikes and BMX bikes are
allowed. All such bikes must also come with two brakes. View our list of bicycles allowed.

26. The following applies to Spin Ride by CRU:
a) To be able to attend the sessions at CRU Studios, participants must be fully vaccinated in accordance with the Ministry of Health guidelines.
b) Upon completion of the Event registration, participants are required to create their own account with CRU to redeem their class credits and booking of classes using the promo
codes that is indicated in the Participant’s confirmation slip.
c) All class bookings are to be made through CRU’s booking platform. For the avoidance of doubt, the Event Organiser does not guarantee the availability of classes on CRU’s
booking platform.
d) Participants must complete three ride sessions with CRU between 6 May 2023, 12:00pm and 5 June 2023, 12:00pm (the “Event Period”).
e) Participant who have purchased the add-on event merchandise to self-collect their purchases at the Event Pack Collection during the event weekend.
f)      Upon confirmation of completion of all three ride sessions, qualified Participants will receive the following items:
i. An e-Certificate which will be available for download within seven days of participation. The e-Certificate will no longer be available for download on 26 June 2023 and
the Event Organiser will not be required to provide you with the e-Certificate thereafter if you have not downloaded a copy by that date.
ii. An Event medal: Which will be delivered by 26 June 2023.
g) The Event Organiser reserve the right to disqualify Participants if it is found that the classes were redeemed/attended by another party. Disqualified Participants will not be
eligible to receive the event entitlements.

27. The following applies to Indoor Ride by Shimano:
a) To be able to attend the qualifier at Shimano Cycling World and final at Singapore Sports Hub, participants must be fully vaccinated in accordance with the Ministry of Health
guidelines.
b)    Participants, must be at least 13 years old to participate in Indoor Ride by Shimano.
c) Participants must attend qualifier session that they have chosen at the point of registration at Shimano Cycling World between 22 April and 29 April to 30 April 2023, 10:00am to
8:00om. Qualified candidates will proceed to compete in Finals 6 May 2023,(the “Event Period”).
d) Participants are not allowed to change their selected time slots after completing registration.
e)    Format of a qualifier:
i. Each rider is required to clock the longest distance within 10 minutes.
ii. The top 18 will proceeds to the Finals.
f) Format for a Final:
i. Participants will compete in a race of approximately 10km.
ii. 3 rounds of 6 participants each.
iii. Top 2 of each round will proceed to compete in a Grand Final.
g)     Participants will select their timeslots in the respective qualifier at the point of registration.
h) There are limited sizes of bicycle provided at the event venue – which is based on a first-come-first-served basis.
i) Participants will also be required to take their height and weight prior to the start of their ride.
j) Bicycles will be provided by Shimano and no changing to personal bikes will be allowed. Bike allocation will be managed by the event organiser.
k) The following prizes will be given away: Champion – $400; First Runner-Up – $300; Second Runner-Up – $200 
l) Participants will also be required to take their height and weight prior to the start of their ride.
m) Upon confirmation of completion of the qualifier, Participants will receive the following items:
i. An e-Certificate which will be available for download within seven days of participation. The e-Certificate will no longer be available for download on 26 June 2023 and
the Event Organiser will not be required to provide you with the e-Certificate thereafter if you have not downloaded a copy by that date.
ii. An Event medal: Which will be delivered by 26 June 2023.
n) The Event Organiser reserve the right to disqualify Participants if it is found that the rides were redeemed/attended by another party. Disqualified Participants will not be eligible
to receive the event entitlements.

SAFETY AND MEDICAL – THE STRAITS TIMES 20KM CITY RIDE, THE SPORTIVE 40KM RIDE, SPEEDWAY CHAMPIONSHIPS, AND MIGHTY SAVERS® KIDS AND FAMILY RIDES

28. The Event Organiser reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice to Participants, to amend the cycling routes for the Event as it deems fit for the safety of the Participants. In
such cases, every reasonable effort will be made to inform Participants prior to the date of the Event. The Event Organiser and Event Owner shall not be liable for any loss or
inconvenience resulting from or attributable to such changes are encouraged to consult their medical practitioners prior to registration and before participating in the Event.

29. Participants must not:
a) Ride without a cycling helmet;
b) Ride dangerously or negligently;
c) Wear any mobile music device while riding;
d) Use hand-held cameras or telephones while riding; or
e) Ride with their pets

30. For the safety of Participants, the following bicycles are not allowed:
a) Bicycles with disc wheels/rim covers;
b) Bicycles with aero or extension bars;
c) Bicycles with fixed wheels or fixed gears;
d) Bicycles with child seat (no pillion in any manner);Specialist time trial bicycles;
e) Motorised bicycles;
f) Unicycles;
g) Scooters;
h) Trailer bicycles;
i) Recumbent bicycles
j) Trikes;
K) Hand cycles; and
l) Tandem bicycles

32. All bicycles, regardless of the categories, must be properly fitted with two brakes and rear bike lights or reflective lights. Single-gear bicycles may not be suitable for long-distance
cycling. Using these bicycles to ride in the Event may prove to be challenging on some parts of the route (for example, cycling uphill). Please note that you are not allowed to abandon
your bicycles along the cycling route as this can be a safety hazard to others.

33. Tandem bicycles and hand cycles may be allowed for physically-challenged participants. Participants should seek prior approval from the Event Organiser for the usage of such bicycles
by writing in to enquiry@ocbccycle.com. All such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and the Event Organiser will respond within three to five working days. The Event
Organiser reserves the right to decline any such requests at its sole discretion without assigning any reason.

34. Participants who attend the Event with bicycles not on the list of bicycles allowed and/or bicycles not in a safe working condition will be prohibited from participating in the Event.

35. All Participants must follow the designated routes and abide by the instructions given by the security, traffic management team and Event officials throughout the Event.

36. If Event officials decide that Participants are unlikely to complete their ride within the stipulated duration for safety reasons, Event officials will divert them to designated diversion
points along the route. Participation medals will still be issued to such affected Participants.

37. Participants must furnish details on the reverse side of the assigned Event bib accurately and attach the Event bib to the back of their cycling jersey/T-shirt. If there is an emergency, the
Event Organiser and medical personnel will refer to the form to contact the next-of-kin identified on the Event bib.

38. Participants not wearing the Event bib will not be allowed to participate in the Event.

39. For safety reasons, Participants have to be equipped with proper footwear. Participants are not allowed to be in slippers, sandals, crocs and other footwear deemed unsuitable by the
Event Organiser during their ride.

40. Participants are encouraged to consult their medical practitioners prior to registration and before participating in the Event.

41. If there is an emergency, medical personnel reserve the right:
a) to remove any Participants if they decide that he/she is unable to continue his/her ride; and
b) to send any casualties to the nearest recommended hospital.

42. The Event Organiser reserve the right to deny entry, disqualify or remove any Participant from the Event venue who do not comply to the Event’s safety measures. View the list of safety

43. Basic complimentary personal accident insurance coverage will be provided for Participants of The Straits Times 20km City Ride and The Sportive 40km Ride between the age of
thirteen (13) to seventy-five (75), Mighty Savers® Kids and Family Ride between the age of two (2) to twelve (12), and Speedway Championships between the age of nineteen (19) to
seventy-five (75). Insurance coverage shall commence from the official start of the ride till the end of the ride with the following policy limits:
a) $5,000 for accidental death
b) $5,000 for permanent disability
c) $500 for medical expenses (Excess: $50 any one accident, maximum $1,000 for the insured period)

The basic personal accident insurance coverage is subject to Great Eastern General Insurance Limited standard policy terms, conditions and exceptions. Please refer to them for more
information.

All payouts will be based on assessments and approvals of duly completed claim forms together with supporting documents within 14 days of the accident occurrence.

This Insurance plan is underwritten by Great Eastern General Insurance Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Great Eastern Holdings Ltd and a member of the OCBC Group.

44. Participants who wish to purchase additional insurance coverage by Great Eastern General Insurance Limited may choose to do so during the registration. Participants of Spin Ride by
CRU between the age of thirteen (13) to seventy-five (75) will not be eligible for the basic complimentary personal accident coverage. However, Participants will have a choice to
purchase the event personal accident coverage during the registration, under the policy limits stipulated in S/N 44.

45. The Event Owner and Event Organiser hereby disclaim liability for any information, materials, products and/or services provided by any third party, including those provided by CRU /
Krewfit Pte Ltd.

SAFETY AND MEDICAL – VIRTUAL RIDES

46. Participants are encouraged to consult their medical practitioners prior to registration and before participating in the Event.

47. Participants are strongly encouraged to adhere to safety advisories, cycling etiquettes and traffic rules when cycling outdoors. These can include:
a) Ensuring the bicycle is safe for use
b) Riding with a cycling helmet
c) Looking out for other road users
d) Refrain from using hand-held devices while riding
e) Riding with a non-electric assisted/powered bicycle
f) In view of the current pandemic situation, please adhere to the latest safe distancing measures

48. Participants can visit www.ocbccycle.com/safe-cycling/ for more details on other safe cycling tips for the Event.

49. Participants are advised to take up their own personal or other insurance policies. No insurance will be provided by the Event for the categories in the OCBC Cycle Virtual Ride.

PROMOTION

50. OCBC credit/debit card members will be entitled to a 10% discount off the relevant full rate registration fees when they sign up for the event with their OCBC cards.

51. First 500 Participants who register from 7 February 2023 using OCBC Pay Anyone™ will receive $2 in cashback. The cashback will be credited to the Participant’s OCBC bank account
after 30 days from registration.

52. The cashback promotion is only applicable for registration under the following categories:
a) The Straits Times 20km City Ride
b) The Sportive 40km Ride
c) Mighty Savers® Tricycle Ride
d) Mighty Savers® Kids and Family Rides
e) The 500km Virtual Ride
f) The 100km Virtual Ride
g) Spin Ride by CRU
h) Indoor Ride by Shimano

53. All promotions apply only to online registrations via the Official Event Website

54. Each promotion cannot be used in conjunction, or in tandem, with another discount/promotion.

55. All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars.

56. There will be no extension of any registration promotion.

57. The eligibility of any Participant to participate in this promotion and/or receive any cashback or discount shall be determined at the absolute discretion of the Event Organiser.

58. The Event Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to terminate the promotion or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions at any time without notice
including without limitation, the eligibility of any participant and the dates of the promotion.

59. The decisions of the Event Organiser on all matters relating to the promotion shall be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence or appeal shall be entertained by the
Event Organiser. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the promotion, these terms
and conditions shall prevail.

60. The Event Owner and Event Organiser shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any person in connection with the Promotion howsoever arising, including any error in
computing chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment, or any notice which is misdirected or lost in the post or in transmission.

61. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and each participant in the Promotion irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of
Singapore. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce
any of these terms and conditions.
