Indoor Ride by Shimano

In this ride, the platform might be virtual but the competition is real. Compete against others using the Zwift platform and move up the leaderboard in our very first edition of the Indoor Ride by Shimano!

Participants will need to compete at Shimano Cycling World at Singapore Sports Hub and use the bicycles and bike trainers provided.

Registrants who register within the Early Bird period (7 Feb to 7 Mar) will stand a chance to win a Brompton P Line bicycle worth S$4,555. All registrants of OCBC Cycle 2023 will also be part of the Grand Lucky Draw at the end of the registration period. How it works:

  • All participants will compete individually. Sign up for your preferred time slot for the qualifiers.
  • On the day of your session, head down to Shimano Cycling World located at the Singapore Sports Hub 30 minutes before your registered session.
  • Bring along your own water, towel and socks for the session. Bikes and cycling shoes with cleats will be provided. If you would prefer to use your own cycling shoes, do ensure that it is SPD-SL compatible.
  • You are not allowed to use your own bicycle or own Zwift account.
  • All cyclists will be weighed at the event venue to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Race format:
    • Qualifiers – Race to cycle the furthest distance within 15 minutes
    • Finals/Grand Finals – Complete 10km distance within the fastest time
  • The top 18 participants across all qualifier sessions will advance to the Finals on 6 May. Finalists will be notified via email by 2 May.
  • Finalists will compete in groups of 6s. The top 2 participants of each session will advance to the Grand Finals.
